The Director of Media at the Ministry of Planning, Investment, and Economic Development of Galmudug, Mr. Farxaan Ahmed Cabdi, today inaugurated a training program aimed at enhancing the skills of journalists working in the capital of Galmudug, Dhusamareb.
This training, which will last for several days, is designed to strengthen journalistic skills — particularly in the areas of development reporting, planning, and understanding development projects within the regional government.
During the opening ceremony, the Director delivered an awareness message and advice to the journalists, encouraging them to play a major role in conveying accurate and factual news about Galmudug’s development, and to avoid reporting information that is not based on truth.
Finally, Mr. Farxaan emphasized that the Ministry will continue to provide support and similar training programs in order to develop a professional media sector that reflects the progress and development plans of Galmudug.
