ISLAMABAD, (HAN) — The Prime Minister of Pakistan has reaffirmed his country’s firm and principled stance in support of the Palestinian people, declaring that “the freedom, dignity, and well-being of the people of Palestine will remain the top priority of the Government of Pakistan.”

In his statement, the Prime Minister emphasized that Pakistan has always stood shoulder to shoulder with the Palestinian people in their long struggle for justice, independence, and the right to live freely in their own homeland. He noted that the people of Palestine have endured decades of occupation, violence, and suffering, yet their courage and resilience continue to inspire freedom-loving nations around the world.

The Prime Minister stressed that Pakistan’s support for Palestine is rooted not only in shared faith and brotherhood but also in the universal principles of human rights, justice, and international law. He reaffirmed that Pakistan will continue to raise its voice at every international platform, including the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), to advocate for an end to Israeli aggression and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif (Jerusalem) as its capital.

He further urged the global community to take immediate action to stop the ongoing atrocities against innocent civilians in Gaza and the West Bank, calling for humanitarian assistance and a lasting solution that guarantees peace, security, and dignity for the Palestinian people.

“The people of Pakistan,” he said, “stand united with their Palestinian brothers and sisters during these difficult times. Our commitment to their cause is unwavering, and we will continue to support every legitimate effort for peace, freedom, and justice.”
