Mogadishu: The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamsa Abdi Barre, received at his office the leaders of the registered political organizations, who play a vital role in the country’s democratic process and the rebuilding of its political party system.
The Prime Minister emphasized his government’s commitment—under the “DanQaran” administration—to strengthening cooperation between the government and political organizations, accelerating the process of one-person, one-vote elections, and implementing a transparent, accountable, and trustworthy political system.
Prime Minister Hamsa stated that the government places high priority on holding inclusive elections by advancing the national electoral plan, ensuring that all citizens have an equal opportunity to decide the country’s future.
He praised the important role that political organizations play in fostering democracy and promoting accountability.
PM Hamsa reaffirmed the full commitment of the DanQaran government to working with all political stakeholders.
Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre also highlighted the government’s dedication to continuing national consultations, which are the foundation for building a solid political system, while taking into account the views and visions of political actors regarding the country’s political future.
