ADEN, (HAN) — The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Yemen, Abdihakim Mohamed Ahmed, held an important meeting in the city of Aden with Yemen’s Minister of Defense, Mohsen Mohammed Al-Daari.
The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations between the two brotherly nations, with particular attention to cooperation in the areas of security, border protection, and enhancing government-to-government collaboration.
Minister Al-Daari expressed his pleasure with the meeting, highlighting the deep historical ties between Yemen and Somalia. He also emphasized that the people of Yemen would never forget Somalia’s consistent support and solidarity.
Ambassador Abdihakim conveyed greetings from Somalia’s Minister of Defense, Ahmed Moalim Fiqi, and reaffirmed Somalia’s commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation and supporting efforts aimed at achieving peace, stability, and development in the region.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both officials agreed on the importance of continuing dialogue and strengthening joint cooperation to serve the mutual interests of the two brotherly peoples.
