MOGADISHU, (HAN) – Somali Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre on Tuesday visited Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu, responding to growing public concerns over the quality of services at the country’s main gateway.
During the inspection tour, the Prime Minister was briefed by officials from the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation as well as airport management. He directed them to urgently address citizens’ complaints regarding essential airport services.
Prime Minister Hamsa emphasized that improvements must be made without delay, particularly in critical areas such as airport machinery and passenger services. He also announced that he would return within two weeks to assess the progress, warning that action would be taken if no tangible improvements were seen.
