Algiers: The Minister of Labour and Social Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia, Yusuf Mohamed Aden, has arrived in Algiers, the capital of Algeria, to participate in a high-level regional summit.
The Minister and his delegation were warmly received at Algiers International Airport by Zahira Shadhah, the Permanent Secretary of Algeria’s Ministry of Social Solidarity, Family, and Women’s Affairs, along with the Somali Ambassador to Algeria, Yusuf Ahmed Hassan.
Minister Yusuf and his delegation are in Algeria to attend the Arab Social and Economic Development Summit, which is set to bring together leaders and representatives from across the Arab world to discuss key issues related to social welfare, economic growth, and regional cooperation.
The summit aims to strengthen collaboration among Arab nations in addressing shared challenges and advancing sustainable development goals in the region.
