Mogadishu– The Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs, and Reconciliation of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hon. MP Ali Yusuf Ali Hoosh, officially inaugurated the High-Level Meeting of the Project on Strengthening Resilience and Climate Change Adaptation.

The event, held in Mogadishu, was organized by the National Center for Rural Development and Sustainable Solutions. It brought together key stakeholders, including the Center’s Director General, Ms. Zahra Abdi, Deputy Director Dr. Abdullahi Zahid, representatives from various government agencies, and international development partners.

In his opening remarks, Minister Ali Hoosh emphasized the importance of building community resilience to climate change and enhancing Somalia’s capacity to adapt to environmental challenges.

He highlighted the government’s commitment to working closely with partners to implement sustainable and locally driven solutions.

The meeting serves as a platform to review progress, share experiences, and strengthen collaboration among actors involved in addressing the impacts of climate change across Somalia.
