WASHINGTON – U.S. President Donald Trump has warned Iran that it would face severe consequences if American troops are killed amid rising tensions in the Middle East.
In a statement posted on his Truth Social platform on Monday, Trump said: “Every time Iran kills an American Soldier they will pay for that killing many times over.”
The warning comes as tensions continue to increase between Washington and Tehran, with both sides engaged in a broader regional confrontation involving military operations, allied groups, and security threats across the Middle East.
Trump’s remarks signal a tougher stance toward Iran and emphasize his administration’s position that any attack resulting in the death of U.S. personnel would trigger a significant response.
