Kenya and Kuwait Strengthen Cooperation on Technology and Digital Transformation

NAIROBI — Kenya and Kuwait have discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations, with a particular focus on technology, digital transformation, skills development and the modernization of government services.

Kenyan officials held talks with Kuwait’s Ambassador to Kenya, Anas Talib Ali Marafi, during which the two sides explored new opportunities to expand cooperation between the two countries.

The discussions focused particularly on Kenya’s ongoing efforts to digitize government services, aimed at improving efficiency, increasing access to public services and making government operations more accessible through technology.

Kenya welcomed Kuwait’s continued support and expressed its readiness to deepen cooperation in technology, digital skills development, innovation and investment.

The two countries also discussed opportunities for knowledge and expertise exchange, workforce capacity building and the modernization of government institutions.

The meeting forms part of broader efforts by Kenya and Kuwait to strengthen their longstanding bilateral relations and create new opportunities in the areas of technology, economic development, investment and improved public services.
