Mogadishu – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has sent a congratulatory message to the President of the brotherly Republic of Djibouti, H.E. Ismaïl Omar Guelleh, as well as to the government and people of Djibouti, on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of their country’s independence.
President Hassan Sheikh praised Djibouti’s struggle for independence, describing it as a shining example of the strength and unity of the Somali people. He also commended Djibouti’s vital role in supporting the Somali people, particularly during the difficult periods Somalia has faced.
