MOGADISHU — The newly elected Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia has expressed appreciation to Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Moses M. Wetang’ula, Speaker of the National Assembly of Kenya, for sending a congratulatory message following his election to lead Somalia’s lower house of parliament.
In a message of appreciation, the Somali parliamentary speaker described Wetang’ula’s congratulations as a valuable gesture that reflects the close and longstanding relationship between Somalia and Kenya.
