UN and India Deepen Dialogue on Inclusive Development and Sustainable Development Goals

NEW DELHI — India and the United Nations have reaffirmed the importance of stronger cooperation to advance inclusive and sustainable development, following an inspiring engagement with United Nations Deputy Secretary-General Amina J. Mohammed in New Delhi.

The discussions focused on shared priorities around inclusive development, sustainable growth, social inclusion and accelerating progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The engagement highlighted the importance of ensuring that development reaches all sections of society, with a strong emphasis on the principle of “Leave No One Behind.”
