WAJIR — Council of Governors (CoG) Chair and Wajir Governor H.E. Ahmed Abdullahi has directed all county government employees to refrain from engaging in political activities, reminding public servants of their duty to remain professional, impartial, and committed to serving residents.

The Governor said county employees must maintain neutrality and focus on delivering quality services to the people of Wajir rather than participating in political engagements that could undermine public confidence in government institutions.

He emphasized that the county administration belongs to all residents and that public servants are expected to uphold integrity, fairness, and professionalism in the execution of their responsibilities.

The directive comes as part of efforts to strengthen accountability, improve service delivery, and ensure that county resources and personnel remain dedicated to public work.

Governor Ahmed Abdullahi urged employees to prioritize development programmes and the needs of citizens, stressing that effective governance requires a civil service that operates above political interests.
