ISLAMABAD, (HAN)– Pakistan’s Defense Minister, Khawaja Asif, announced today that the strategic defense agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is open for other Arab countries to join.

Speaking on the pact, Asif emphasized that Islamic countries have the right to maintain a collective defense, making it clear that no nation could easily launch an attack against a Muslim country without facing serious consequences.

The minister also confirmed that the agreement includes Pakistan’s nuclear capabilities as part of the defense framework for Saudi Arabia. “The pact covers all resources we have for self-defense, and nuclear options will be utilized if the situation demands,” Asif stated.

Experts note that this declaration signals that any attack on Saudi Arabia could trigger a nuclear response, highlighting the high stakes involved in regional security.
